Friends, March is nearly here, and to celebrate the much-needed warming of the earth, I’ve curated a special list of cozy game releases that are sure to put a little pep in your step this month. From the big Triple A titles to your delightful little indies, I’ve made sure to include them all.
I'm going to start the article by talking about a few of my personal favorites for the month, then we’ll dive into some updates for previously released games that are blessing new consoles, and finally, we’ll finish it out with all the other amazing games that I think our community might adore playing. So, grab your favorite blanket, cuddle up, and let’s dive into March’s cozy games.

TPF Top Picks

Our first game on the list is one I’ve personally been waiting for for a long time now. As an actual lover of all things horse games, The Legend of Khiimori has been at the pinnacle of my watch list, so when I saw its release date set for March 3rd, I knew it had to be in this video.
The Legend of Khiimori is a system-driven game where you explore the untamed land of 13th century Mongolia as a brave courier rider. Breed and train horses with specialized abilities to explore every aspect of this diverse and fascinating landscape. Surviving is also key! Forage and hunt for supplies and materials to mix food and tonics for your horse. Plan your routes wisely to avoid damaging vulnerable cargo or endangering your trusted steed. For those who want a truly cozy experience, this won’t be it, but for those who enjoy a bit more action like me, well, it’s time to saddle up.
Releasing on March 3rd for PC into Early Access

I know you guys don’t need me to tell you that Pokopia is releasing for the Switch 2 on March 5th, but I’m going to anyways.
You’ll play as Ditto, that’s cleverly disguised as a human, with your progression directly tied to your ability to mimic others rather than leveling up through combat. Transform into Bulbasaur to garden and harvest your crops, or perhaps a Machop to mine and clear paths. Terraform the land, build houses, craft furniture, and attract more Pokémon that will help you maintain your town. With a real-time day and night cycle, this one will play like Animal Crossing, but is so unique that it’s hard to compare them. With no combat, this will be a truly casual Pokémon experience. I, for one, am incredibly excited.
Releasing on March 5th for Switch 2

For our fans of atmospheric and drop-dead gorgeous games, Planet of Lana II will be making its appearance on March 5th.
For this sequel, we’ll be returning to Lana and Mui’s home planet, where new technology brings progress but also stirs greed and imbalance. Journey across frozen peaks, deep oceans, and forgotten ruins in a hand-painted world where nature meets technology. With no spoken dialogue, characters express themselves through an alien language, letting the world, music, and your choices carry the story and inviting you to find its meaning for yourself. Puzzles are woven naturally into the world, rewarding awareness, timing, and cooperation instead of complex logic. Use Lana’s expanded agility, from wall jumps to smooth movement and momentum, to navigate your path through danger.
What’s most exciting is this one is coming to all consoles, so no matter where you play, you can enjoy.
Releasing on March 5th for PC, PS4/5, and Xbox One/S/X, Switch 1/2

To those looking to enjoy a good simulation experience this month, Ranger’s Path: National Park Simulator is coming to early access on Steam March 10th.
You’ll take on the everyday responsibilities of a real park ranger in the stunning Faremont National Park. Restore and maintain scenic trails, assist visitors, and document wildlife in a living, breathing ecosystem. You’ll clear blocked paths, collect litter, fix broken signs – and occasionally drop everything to respond to urgent wildlife sightings or missing hikers. Faremont’s diverse biomes range from dense forests and meadows to winding rivers. With your ranger pickup, you’ll cover long distances along the park’s road network, reaching remote areas filled with natural landmarks like waterfalls, rock formations, and scenic viewpoints. If you’re looking to enjoy some gorgeous in-game sights this month, then this is one to check out.
Releasing on March 10th for PC into Early Access

For those who want to play the cozier version of Raft this month, Collector’s Cove is coming to PC, PS5, and the Switch on March 12th.
You’ll embark on a tranquil journey through uncharted waters in this farming adventure set on the high seas! There are no enemies in this world: it’s just you, your animal friend, and an ocean full of secrets and surprises. Grow a flourishing floating farm. Cultivate rare crops and reel in elusive fish. Discover new islands and climate zones, each with its own collection of unique local flora. Fill in your Collector’s Compendium. Craft items and personalize your ship to transform it into your own home. Learn how to gather enough rare crops and fish; and you might even rise to the ultimate rank: Collector!
