Double Dusk Announces Their Debut Title 'Whisk' | An Addictingly Fun First Person Platformer
We were invited to try out Double Dusk's debut title, 'Whisk,' this last weekend, and admittedly, it was hopelessly addicting. This two-player platformer revolves around shared movement, communication, and coordination. Bring your best ability and pick one of the two characters, leaving the other for your teammate. You'll need both of you if you're going to succeed at saving the adorable Dreamcats.
Take a turn to practice, then once you've mapped out your route, grab your Dreamcat and go! Dash through surreal worlds as Luna and Foam while rescuing the Dreamcats by launching them into interdimensional portals.

My favorite thing about this experience was the 'just one more try' mindset that was ever-present in each level. Every time we made it through, a shiny new badge would pop up, and for some levels, there's even additional Dreamcats to find and rescue. You couldn't help but want to chase the leaderboards and see just how fast your times could get.

The stages are short and sweet, with a built-in quick reset. It's easy to laugh off your misses and run it back. The fastest runs demand coordination, timing, and the confidence to commit. The goal? To save ‘em all!

Game Features:
Work together in split screen or online coop
Dozens of stages to ascend through
Find secret lost cats to rescue when revisiting previous levels
Fast and fluid movement mechanics and physics
Achievements and time trial badges for every stage
Friends and global leaderboards for every stage
A stylized watercolor world
Magical drum and bass by Pizza Hotline
If Whisk has stirred your interest, then make sure to head over to Steam and wishlist it to support the development! You can expect future updates for the title from us here at TPF as well. Want to take a first look at the gameplay? Then enjoy our video below 👇
